Get an exclusive tour of our Nursery and learn to propagate an array of plants with Descanso’s Nursery Horticulturist Olivia Behegan. This workshop will introduce propagation techniques for beginners, teaching attendees the principles needed to propagate common household plants. We will also explore more intermediate and advanced techniques with native and woody plants, finishing with creating a take-home mini greenhouse.

Green materials and vessels will be provided but we recommend that you bring your own gloves.

About the Instructor: Olivia Behegan is Descanso Gardens’ Nursery Horticulturist, who runs nursery facilities and operations. Olivia has spent most of her life raising plants with a passion for plant breeding. She is a proud graduate of UC Davis’ college of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
