Join us for an eight-week Tuesday yoga series with Barbara Wood in the Rose Garden Pavilion every Tuesday for 8 weeks. This series involves stretches, strengthening poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement. The practice adapts to individual needs. Each class includes a 25-minute fitness walk and 60-minute yoga practice.
The class is open to all levels. Students should bring their own yoga mat and water bottle. Students are invited to bring the following materials if they have them: 2 yoga blocks 4” X 6” X 9”, yoga strap with metal buckle 10’, yoga blanket.
About the instructor: Barbara Wood wants everyone to leave class feeling stronger and uplifted. Her yoga style incorporates her dance background, specifically Alignment Release and F.M. Alexander techniques. She is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a Yoga for Osteoporosis and Yoga for Back Pain therapist. www.barbarawoodyoga.com
