Yoga for Bone Strength
Yoga can slow down the natural decline of bone mass while simultaneously improving strength and balance. A daily yoga practice can improve your bone density as you learn proper alignment and what is safe to do.
Instructor Barbara Wood is certified as a Hatha Yoga instructor. Barbara‘s yoga style incorporates her background as a modern dancer, specifically Alignment Release Technique, and F.M. Alexander Technique. She trained under Dr. Loren Fishman, NY, and is certified as a Yoga for Osteoporosis and Yoga for Back Pain therapist.
