Spring Yoga—Tuesday Series

Join us for an eight-week yoga series with Barbara Wood every Tuesday. 

Yoga at Descanso Gardens is based on Hatha Yoga, which includes stretches, strengthening poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement. The practice adapts to individual needs. Each class includes a 25-minute fitness walk and a 60-minute yoga practice. 

This class is open to all levels. Students should bring their own yoga mat and water bottle.  

About the instructor: Barbara Wood wants everyone to leave class feeling stronger and uplifted. Her yoga style incorporates her dance background, specifically Alignment Release and F.M. Alexander techniques. She is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a Yoga for Osteoporosis and Yoga for Back Pain therapist.  www.barbarawoodyoga.com

 

Members only. 8 weeks (8 classes) $136 per participant
Advance registration and minimum enrollment required.
Waiver approved upon registration.
