Thursday August 29

5:00 PM  –  6:30 PM

The plants, wild animals, and humans of Descanso all impact each other. This walk and talk with environmental educator Jason “Journeyman” Wise will look at the history of Descanso through an ecological lens, examining how changes ranging from human land use to climate have affected every being that passes through Descanso Gardens. There will be storytelling, plant identification, and even some community science. It is Arbor Day and City Nature Challenge weekend, after all!
