See the beauty of Descanso Gardens through the camera lens! In this Photography 101 workshop series, teens will be introduced to essential and basic DSLR functions, how to control settings, consider composition and visual strategies, and gain knowledge of basic file organization and off-loading practices. Students will engage in discussion, photo walks through the garden, and group peer review, exploring both technical and aesthetic aspects of photography. 

Join this 3-part class, led by Las Fotos Project Teaching Artist, Danielle Del Rosario, and Teaching Artist Assistant Yahaira Guerrero. This class is intended for participants aged 13-19. 

Necessary equipment will be provided, but students are invited to bring a personal digital camera, if they desire.

This class is intended for participants aged 13-19.

All participants ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

Supervising adults are not required to purchase an additional ticket.
